• Location is optional: You can use core app features without sharing your location (location-based features may be unavailable if you decline).
• Permission required: We request your device permission before accessing location. You can decline this request.
• Manual check-in required: Your location is displayed on the map only when you manually choose to check in (for example, tapping a "Check in" button).
• Time-limited check-ins: Check-ins are temporary (up to 2 hours) and must be performed each time you want to appear on the map.
• No automatic check-ins: There is no option to enable always-on, automatic, or background check-ins for map visibility.
• Stop sharing anytime: You can stop sharing location by not checking in, turning off map visibility (if available), or disabling location permissions in your device settings.
• Blocking protections: If you block a user, that user is prevented from viewing your profile and contacting you, and we intend to prevent blocked users from seeing each other in map/nearby features.
• Precision: Depending on your device settings and permissions, we may process approximate or precise location. Where feasible, we aim to minimize precision for map display to reduce risk.
• Retention: We retain location/check-in information only as long as necessary to provide map features and for safety and security purposes (for example, investigating reports and preventing abuse).

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to share information (for example, choosing to check in for map visibility)
