These Community Guidelines explain the rules for using AfterDarkSociety.com, the AfterDark Society mobile applications, and any related websites, applications, communities, events, messaging tools, features, and services that link to these Community Guidelines. In these Community Guidelines, we refer to those services collectively as the “Platform.”
The Platform is operated by After Dark Society, LLC (“After Dark Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The Platform is an adult-only social, community, discovery, messaging, event, dating-adjacent, and user-generated content platform intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old.
These Community Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Community Guidelines have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
By using the Platform, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and all other policies that apply to your use of the Platform.
The Platform is for adults only.
You must not use the Platform unless you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to access adult-oriented content and services in your jurisdiction.
You must not:
If you believe a minor has accessed the Platform or that content involving a minor appears on the Platform, report it immediately through the Platform’s reporting tools or by contacting us.
The Platform is built for consenting adults.
You must not upload, post, send, request, promote, threaten to distribute, or otherwise make available content that depicts or describes a person in a sexual, intimate, nude, or explicit context without that person’s valid consent.
You must not use the Platform to coerce, pressure, manipulate, deceive, threaten, blackmail, extort, exploit, or intimidate another person into sexual activity, content creation, content sharing, private messaging, meeting in person, joining an event, joining a group, sending money, or continuing communication.
Consent must be voluntary, informed, and legally valid.
If content depicts more than one person, you are responsible for ensuring that each depicted person is an adult and that you have all required rights, permissions, releases, consents, and records.
The following are strictly prohibited:

Even where explicit adult content is permitted, it must comply with these Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, the 2257 Compliance Policy, the Takedown and Appeals Policy, and any content-submission, age-verification, identity-verification, consent-form, or creator-status requirements we provide.
We may label, blur, restrict, remove, downrank, block, or otherwise limit explicit content for any reason, including legal compliance, app-store compliance, payment-processor compliance, safety, user settings, moderation, or product design.
Not all explicit content that is legal is allowed on the Platform.
You must not upload, post, send, request, promote, or make available content involving:
You must not upload, post, send, threaten, request, or distribute nonconsensual intimate content.

It also includes AI-generated, digitally altered, manipulated, deepfake, edited, or synthetic intimate content that depicts or appears to depict a real person without that person’s consent.
If you are depicted in content on the Platform and believe it was posted without your consent, you may submit a takedown request through the Platform’s reporting tools or by contacting us.
We may remove or restrict reported content, suspend accounts, preserve records, require documentation, process appeals, notify payment processors or app stores, and take other action required or permitted by law.
If you upload explicit content, appear in explicit content, use creator features, submit consent forms, or are otherwise subject to age, identity, consent, or 2257 requirements, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information.
