Anti-Trafficking and Exploitation Policy

This Anti-Trafficking and Exploitation Policy explains After Dark Society, LLC’s standards, reporting process, and enforcement practices relating to human trafficking, sex trafficking, coercion, exploitation, prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, forced sexual activity, sextortion, and related abuse.

This policy applies to AfterDarkSociety.com, the AfterDark Society mobile applications, and any related websites, applications, communities, messaging tools, features, and services that link to this policy. In this policy, we refer to those services collectively as the “Platform.”

The Platform is operated by After Dark Society, LLC (“After Dark Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

The Platform is an adult-only social and community platform. The Platform must not be used to facilitate trafficking, exploitation, prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, coercion, or abuse.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies in addition to our Community Guidelines, Takedown and Appeals Policy, Nonconsensual Intimate Content Policy, Child Safety Standards, Privacy Policy, DMCA and Copyright Policy, 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257–2257A Record-Keeping Compliance Statement, and other applicable Platform policies.

1. Zero-Tolerance Standard

After Dark Society has a zero-tolerance standard for human trafficking, sex trafficking, child exploitation, coercion, forced sexual activity, and commercial sexual exploitation.

You must not use the Platform to recruit, advertise, solicit, arrange, facilitate, promote, coordinate, conceal, profit from, or participate in trafficking, exploitation, coercion, prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, or nonconsensual sexual activity.

This prohibition applies to profiles, posts, photos, videos, messages, comments, groups, events, usernames, biographies, links, payment references, coded language, referrals, tags, captions, live or offline meetups, and any other Platform activity.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

• traffic or exploit another person;
• recruit or attempt to recruit another person for trafficking, exploitation, prostitution, escorting, or illegal sexual services;
• advertise, arrange, or facilitate prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, or commercial sex acts;
• offer or request payment, gifts, lodging, transportation, drugs, employment, modeling opportunities, creator opportunities, subscriptions, tips, or other benefits in exchange for sexual activity where prohibited by law or Platform policy;
• coerce, force, threaten, deceive, blackmail, extort, manipulate, or pressure another person into sexual activity, content creation, content sharing, messaging, meeting, traveling, attending an event, or continuing communication;
• exploit a person’s vulnerability, housing insecurity, immigration status, addiction, financial dependence, disability, age, isolation, or fear;
• control another person’s account, content, payments, messages, location, documents, travel, identification, or communications for exploitative purposes;
• confiscate, withhold, or threaten to withhold identification documents, money, devices, accounts, housing, transportation, or access to support;
• threaten to disclose intimate content, private information, immigration status, criminal history, sex work history, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other sensitive information;
• use the Platform to facilitate forced labor or debt bondage;
• use coded language, euphemisms, emojis, tags, prices, menus, services, locations, travel references, or off-platform directions to evade this policy;
• move users off the Platform to avoid moderation, age verification, consent requirements, or law enforcement detection; or
• assist, encourage, coordinate, conceal, or profit from any of the above.

3. Minors

Any commercial sexual activity involving a person under 18 is prohibited and may constitute trafficking regardless of whether force, fraud, or coercion is present.

You must not use the Platform to contact, recruit, solicit, groom, entice, exploit, advertise, depict, or facilitate abuse of a minor.

You must not upload, post, send, request, solicit, distribute, or link to any sexual, nude, intimate, exploitative, suggestive, or abusive content involving a minor or a person who appears to be a minor.

Reports involving minors may be escalated under our Child Safety Standards, reported to NCMEC, reported to law enforcement, and handled as urgent safety matters.

4. Consent and Control

Consent must be voluntary, informed, and legally valid.

Consent is not valid if obtained through force, fraud, coercion, threats, intimidation, trafficking, exploitation, incapacity, deception, abuse of power, or unlawful pressure.

You must not claim that a person consented if that person was coerced, controlled, trafficked, exploited, incapacitated, underage, misled about the nature or distribution of content, or otherwise unable to give legally valid consent.

A person’s prior consent to communicate, meet, create content, appear in content, share content, attend an event, or participate in sexual activity does not authorize trafficking, exploitation, coercion, nonconsensual conduct, or illegal activity.

5. Adult Content, Events, and Offline Activity

The Platform may allow lawful adult content and adult-oriented community features where permitted by law and Platform policy.

The Platform does not permit users to advertise, arrange, solicit, facilitate, or coordinate prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, trafficking, coercion, or commercial sex acts.

Groups, events, messages, profiles, posts, and off-platform links must not be used to evade this policy.

Event hosts and group organizers are responsible for ensuring that their listings, communications, and activities comply with law and Platform policy.

After Dark Society does not control offline conduct. Users are responsible for their own safety and legal compliance when interacting with others online or offline.

6. Exploitation Indicators

We may review reports, content, accounts, messages, groups, events, metadata, verification information, payment information, location signals, user behavior, and other information for potential indicators of trafficking, coercion, or exploitation.

Potential indicators may include:

• multiple accounts controlled by the same person;
• a person other than the depicted user controlling communications, content, payments, or account access;
• repeated or scripted messages suggesting third-party control;
• offers of lodging, transportation, employment, modeling, creator opportunities, or gifts connected to sexual activity;
• pressure to move conversations off-platform;
• threats, blackmail, extortion, or sextortion;
• references to quotas, debt, managers, handlers, drivers, security, or controlled movement;
• inability or unwillingness of a user to speak for themselves;
• inconsistent identity, age, location, or consent information;
• signs of fear, coercion, injury, intoxication, incapacity, or lack of autonomy;
• use of coded language associated with illegal sexual services;
• solicitation of commercial sex acts;
• suspicious event or group activity;
• reports from users, depicted persons, third parties, payment processors, app stores, regulators, or law enforcement; or
• other facts suggesting trafficking, exploitation, coercion, or abuse.

The presence or absence of any single indicator does not determine whether trafficking or exploitation occurred.

7. Reporting Trafficking or Exploitation

You may report suspected trafficking, exploitation, coercion, prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, forced sexual activity, sextortion, or related abuse through the Platform’s reporting tools where available.

8. Information to Include in a Report

To help us review a report, include as much of the following information as possible:

• the username, profile, post, message, group, event, URL, screenshot, date, or other information identifying the content, account, or conduct;
• a description of the concern;
• whether anyone may be in immediate danger;
• whether the report involves a minor or a person who may be a minor;
• whether the report involves coercion, threats, trafficking, exploitation, prostitution, escorting, illegal sexual services, nonconsensual conduct, forced sexual activity, sextortion, blackmail, or abuse;
• whether the activity appears to involve off-platform contact, travel, lodging, transportation, payment, gifts, employment, modeling, content creation, or event attendance;
• any known location, date, time, or event information;
• any relevant screenshots or records, if safe and lawful to provide; and
• your contact information, if you are willing to provide it.

Do not confront a suspected trafficker directly. Do not attempt to investigate in a way that could put you or another person at risk.

9. Our Response

When we receive or identify a trafficking, exploitation, coercion, or illegal sexual services concern, we may take immediate action.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• remove or restrict content;
• disable messages, groups, events, or other features;
• restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts;
• preserve content, account information, messages, metadata, verification records, payment records, location signals, and related records;
• review related accounts, uploads, messages, groups, events, referrals, or patterns of activity;
• request additional information or documentation;
• require age or identity verification;
• require consent documentation;
• use automated tools, human review, vendor support, trust-and-safety review, or legal review;
• report to law enforcement;
• report to NCMEC if a minor may be involved;
• notify payment processors, card networks, app stores, regulators, vendors, or other appropriate entities;
• cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, payment processors, card networks, app stores, and safety organizations; and
• take any other action required or permitted by law or Platform policy.

10. Complaint Resolution and Appeals

We aim to review and resolve reports involving illegal, exploitative, or nonconsensual content promptly.

All reported complaints involving illegal, exploitative, or nonconsensual content will be reviewed and resolved within five business days of receipt.

A person depicted in content may request removal of that content under the Takedown and Appeals Policy if the person believes the content was created or distributed without valid consent, involved coercion or exploitation, involved trafficking, involved a minor, or otherwise violates law or Platform policy.

If consent cannot be established, or if the depicted person demonstrates that consent is invalid or void under applicable law, we will remove the content as required by law and Platform policy.

If there is a disagreement regarding an appeal, or a consent dispute, we will allow it to be resolved by a neutral third-party body, at After Dark Society’s expense.

11. Retaliation Is Prohibited

You must not retaliate against any person who reports trafficking, exploitation, coercion, nonconsensual content, illegal sexual activity, or a Platform policy violation.

Retaliation includes threats, harassment, doxing, blackmail, extortion, intimidation, account targeting, public exposure, off-platform harassment, or threats to disclose intimate content or private information.

We may restrict or terminate accounts involved in retaliation.

12. Preservation and Disclosure

We may preserve and disclose content, account information, messages, metadata, verification information, reports, payment information, location signals, and related records when we believe doing so is required or appropriate for safety, legal compliance, law enforcement, child safety, anti-trafficking, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, moderation, payment processing, app-store compliance, or platform integrity.

We may disclose information to law enforcement, NCMEC, regulators, courts, payment processors, card networks, app stores, legal advisors, vendors, or safety organizations where required or permitted by law or where we believe disclosure is necessary to address trafficking, exploitation, coercion, child safety, imminent harm, or other serious concerns.

13. Enforcement

Violating this policy may result in enforcement action, including:

• content removal;
• content restriction;
• disabling messages;
• disabling uploads;
• disabling groups or events;
• account warning;
• account suspension;
• account termination;
• loss of paid features;
• loss of creator features;
• preservation of records;
• reporting to law enforcement;
• reporting to NCMEC;
• reporting to payment processors, card networks, app stores, or regulators; and
• other action required or permitted by law.

14. Relationship to Other Policies

This policy does not replace the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Child Safety Standards, Takedown and Appeals Policy, Nonconsensual Intimate Content Policy, DMCA and Copyright Policy, 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257–2257A Record-Keeping Compliance Statement, or Privacy Policy.

If an issue also involves minors, nonconsensual intimate content, copyright infringement, privacy violations, harassment, impersonation, fraud, or other policy concerns, we may process the matter under one or more applicable policies.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.

When we make material changes, we may notify users by posting the updated policy, updating the “Last updated” date, sending an email, providing an in-platform notice, using a click-through notice, or using another method reasonably designed to notify affected users.

Your continued use of the Platform after an updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
